Edun ONE T-Shirts

The Edun ONE T-shirt is being sold to raise awareness of the ONE campaign and to raise funds. For each shirt sold, Edun donates $10 to ALAFA. More than 25 000 T-shirts have already been sold, and representatives from Edun visited Lesotho in November 2006 to hand over a cheque for US$276 330 to ALAFA.

The ONE shirts are being made for Edun at a Lesotho factory using African cotton. This is in keeping with the company's belief that job creation is more important than charity, and that trade not aid is the way for Africa to lift itself out of poverty.
